Annual Giving

Special Opportunities
There are several unique ways to contribute to the Arts Center. We hope you'll find an opportunity you like!

A Brick Lining The Walkway
The names of many proud Lowcountry families and visitors fill the rows of engraved bricks lining the walkways of The Arts Center of Coastal Carolina. For a $100 donation, these bricks have honored family and friends during a holiday season; memorialized a loved one; blazoned a family name permanently for Arts Center visitors to see. The bricks help support the on-going programs of the Arts Center, and are tax-deductible. Learn how to name your brick by calling the development office at (843) 686-3945, ext. 303.

Please Take Your Seat
There are many names you may know engraved on brass plaques on the handsomely upholstered seats in the Elizabeth Wallace Theatre. Though many have been "claimed" by those donating $5,000 to the Arts Center's seat campaign, some seats do remain. A $5,000 donation - and payments may be made over time - means that your name, or any name of your choice, will be affixed forever on one of our theatre seats for all the world to see. Even more importantly, such tax deductible donations ensure that The Arts Center of Coastal Carolina can continue its many programs bringing the arts to our community. Call the development office, at (843) 686-3945, ext. 303, for more information on taking your seat in the Elizabeth Wallace Theater.

Heritage Circle: Dining With Art
The fifth annual Heritage Circle Dinner was held in the Walter Greer Gallery on Saturday, November 3, 2001. Heritage Circle members had the privilege of previewing Live With History, a never-before-seen exhibit of New York Times archival photographs representing more than a century of work. In November 2000, members previewed the exhibit, Hilton Head Collects: Private Treasures… Public View with featured guest, William B. Bodine, Jr., Deputy Director & Chief Curator of the Columbia Museum of Art. This was a unique display of treasures from the private collections of residents throughout the Lowcountry. It included works by Henri Matisse, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Andrew Wyeth, Roy Lichtenstein and Jasper Johns.

Participation in Heritage Circle includes an annual gift to the Arts Center of one thousand and two hundred and fifty dollars. Exceptional gifts such as this enable the Arts Center to offer extraordinary exhibitions, productions, community events and educational programs to audiences of all ages. Heritage Circle members play a major role in determining the Arts Center's future and its growth. Support at this level enriches the lives of children and adults throughout the Lowcountry region.

We extend to you an invitation to join other distinguished member of Heritage Circle to create cultural vitality on Hilton Head Island.
