Where You Belong
The Arts Center is proud to present outstanding programs that offer a variety of interesting arts experiences. These cultural activities create new opportunities for residents and visitors to share in the wonder, joy and excitement of the arts.
The Theater Series
Each year the Arts Center produces five plays or musicals, from concept to curtain call, in the Theater Series, featuring outstanding direction, superb set design and talented actors.
The Presenting Series
From pop and jazz to big band, blues and classical music, the Presenting Series at the Arts Center offers great performances throughout the season for every taste, and includes the Arts Center's own resident choral company, The Hallelujah Singers, as well as youth shows and programs.
Visual Arts
The exhibitions in the Walter Greer Gallery - from national exhibits to statewide exchanges to community artistry - showcase an exciting mix of media, styles and messages for all ages and interests.
Education Programs
The Education Program offers visual and performance workshops, lectures, field trips and Artists-in-Education residencies, creating unique youth and adult learning experiences.
Community Festivals
The Community Outreach Program features a number of free outdoor festivals and concerts, including the Community Holiday Tree Lighting, the Gullah Celebration, Youth ArtsFest and Family Fiesta Latina, featuring local, as well as nationally recognized artists.
